This custom hardscaping project features four granite steps and a landing, wrapped in a natural stone veneer. Built for a Massachusetts home, it provides a strong, weather-resistant, and visually striking entry upgrade.
When it comes to outdoor entryways, few materials offer the timeless strength and clean finish of granite. This Massachusetts project features a set of four granite steps with a natural stone veneer wrapping the structure and a practical landing at the base—delivering durability and elegance in equal measure.
Perfect for high-traffic areas, this staircase brings structure and flow to the home’s landscape while standing up to the harshest seasonal elements.
The client wanted:
We started by excavating and preparing the base, ensuring a solid foundation for both the steps and the landing. The granite treads were installed with precise alignment, known for their strength, clean-cut appearance, and excellent slip resistance. The front and side faces were covered with a natural stone veneer for a warmer, organic finish that contrasts beautifully with the clean granite lines.
Key components:
The completed staircase is both practical and visually elevated. The granite provides unmatched strength, ideal for long-term wear and tear, while the stone veneer adds softness and texture to the visual profile. Together, they form a beautiful entryway that adds value and comfort to the homeowner’s daily routine.
